Trapezoidal Bridge Segments - University at Buffalo Simulated Earthquake on 2 Massive Shake Tables
      Kistner Concrete recently manufactured a half scale 60-ft long Trapezoidal Bridge. The eight segment post-tensioned precast super structure supported by 2 Precast Pier Caps & 2- 10 ft. Sq. Vertically Post-Tentioned 5 in. wall hollow Piers, on 2- 10' x 10' Precast Concrete Foundation Blocks. The entire assembly was erected on massive twin shake tables at the university's Structural Engineering and Earthquake Simulation Laboratory, Amherst NY. 
      During the time period of testing the bridge underwent over 150 simulated earthquakes each lasting about a minute. The tests varied in intensity, and motion.
